Hi! I am glad to see you here and I hope I'll answer to your question. Traxxas Slash is one of the most popular trucks in all-road category. It is good looking and very fast truck. If you're looking for Traxxas Slash 4x4 For sale you will need some good review.

You have option to chose color of the body and graphics style, so those pictures above are symbolic.

Those are all great trucks but my favorite is Slash 4x4 Ultimate. Compared with Slash 1/16, Slash Ultimate is almost twice expensive, but it comes with much better motor and transmission. To me 1/16 is too small, with 1/10 scale Slash I have much more fun. It is much easier to upgrade 1/10 scale and you can easily get parts.

At the end, all Slash-es are great trucks and you won't regret spending money on any Traxxas Slash 4x4. Read complete review on Traxxas Slash Brushless 4x4 or Traxxas Slash Ultimate. Thanks for reading.

Traxxas Slash Differential | How To Grease Differential On Traxxas Slash

Differential is one of the most important parts on Traxxas Slash. It is very important to learn how to maintain Traxxas Slash Differential, properly. There are many options for differential upgrades but first you must know the basics.

Do you need to grease differential?

I think grease is not so good because after short period differential stays dry because of the high density of the grease. In my opinion, diff lube is much better, but you'll need to seal the diff so lube can't leak out. This helps differential to be more quiet and spin smoothly. You can watch this great video and learn how to do it easily.

Traxxas Slash Wheels | Upgrade Tips

Few words about Wheel Offset and Wheel Diameter

Changing Traxxas Slash Wheels or Traxxas Slash Tires is easy to do and it will give Slash nice new look which is important, but this is not the main reason why you should do wheel upgrades. Before changing you should check for wheel offset and diameter. Those two things are very important for successful upgrades. For those who don't know what is wheel offset and wheel diameter (inner and outer), please take a look at following pictures.

Wheel offset is very important for because Traxxas Slash have wheels under the body, which is not case with other trucks such as Stampede. If you want to put bigger wheels you will probably need to cut the body which I would not recommend. You have to be aware that if you put bigger wheels, you will increase tensions in whole suspension which could lead to premature breakdown.

Difference between wheels for 4x4 Slash and Slash 2wd?
Many of you ask if there is any difference between the those two rims, and that is a problem when you changing wheels. All Traxxas Slash models including Slash Nitro and Slayer Pro have wheels with 2.2" outer diameter and 3.0" inner diameter. The only exceptions are 1/16 scale Slash's which have 1.6" wheels.
